19- Another fair-y good day

Illinois has been good to us. The camping has been spot on, scenery nice and motorists friendly. Tomorrow we get a new state, Missouri!
Raccoon 1- my pannier 0. Yup the sneaky lil booger some how managed to get a whole pack of bagels out through a little hole. 100% my fault for leaving my bag out in raccoon zone last night. Nothing a little duct tape can't take care of.
There was a family camping that treated us to breakfast. How nice of them.
We got a super late start today but since the high for the day was only in the mid 70's it wasn't a big deal.
Its flat here, I'm not sure I really know how to ride flat stuff very well. I'm guessing I will get better at it real quick. We rode along the Mississippi on the levy for a while today. Very beautiful.
I stopped for lunch part 2 at a bar called Bottoms Up. I got a pbr and hot wings, lunch of champions.
Tonight we are staying in Chester. Which is Pop Eyes hometown, who knew?
As it turns out the Chester fair is going on this weekend, at the place where we are camping. We had to roll our bikes through the crowd to get to the field where camping is allowed.
The adventure cycling led group is here as well. There are 10 of them.
Right now I'm sitting listening to band playing with a belly full of BBQ and funnel cake. So so sleeepy!
We are going to ride with the aca group tomorrow. We even get a police escort out of town. Hooray for good timing.
